Capt. PVK Mohan, Chairman & Managing Director

Capt. P V K Mohan, a Master Mariner with 14 Years of Sailing experience has a Masters Degree and a MBA from RMIT, Australia. He has setup successful business ventures in India and overseas. He is presently the Chairman of National Shipping Board holding the rank and executive powers of Secretary to Govt of INDIA . He is the only mariner to head the permanent statuary body established to advise the Government of India on matters related to shipping, ports and develop the Maritime agenda.

Capt. Mohan also holds various positions in public and private sectors for promoting Shipping, Logistics, Sports and Charitable activities in India.

Positions under aegis of Ministry of Shipping, Government of India

Both as Member and as Chairman of the National Shipping Board, Capt. Mohan, contributed enormously to the development of the Maritime trade and policies. Few of his contributions include

Resolving congestion issues at Kolkata/Haldia Ports as Chairman of the High Powered Committee
Revived Vallarpadam port project
Conceptualized and recommended world class container terminal at Daimond Harbour, Kolkata
Led delegations to free vessels from Pirates
Was involved in the vessel MV Hebei Spirit issue and took up matter with Korean Government with delegation to Korea
Was chairman of Committee looking into sinking of iron ore ships and got new guidelines framed by DG Shipping for loading iron ore into vessels
Was Chairman of High powered Committee, looking into the reasons for faulty construction of Jetty at Lakshadweep Islands and also lead delegation to Japan for field study on the usage of floating breakwaters for deploying at Lakshadweep Islands. 
Recommended setting up on Bulk Port at Sagar Islands
Instrumental in piloting the Casualty Investigation Bureau
Made several recommendations to develop Coastal Shipping & Inland Waterways
Was Chairman of the Committee constituted to report on the collision of MSC Chitra and MV Khalija at approach channel of Mumbai Port Trust
Is Chairman of Empowered Committee for Andaman Islands
Is Chairman of the expert committee on implementable measures consequent to stoppage of handling of coal & Iron ore in Chennai port

Mr. P. Sarat Kumar

Mr. P. Sarat Kumar, is B.A (Hons) Graduate from Delhi University and heads the Human Resources (HR) and Finance departments of the Group. He has more than 20 years experience in the HR domain and brings with him experience in International Trading. Mr. Kumar is also responsible for the Corporate social initiatives of the company



Mr. P. Vivek Anand
,
Director - Marketing & Operations

P. Vivek Anand, heads the Group Marketing activities and new business initiatives. He has Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management from Delhi and Masters from Austria. He is also proficient in 6 languages including Telugu, Bengali, Hindi, English, French and German.



Mr. R. Ramesh,
Director - MCL

Mr. R. Ramesh, a post graduate in MBA from the Anna University spearheads the corporate Finance & Accounting functions of the group companies. He has more than 20 years experience in corporate finance and regulatory compliance. An ardent lover of sports, Mr. Ramesh is also an active member for Madras Cricket Club and Kodaikanal club
